The Siliguri Corridor in a shifting Geopolitical Landscape of South Asia

While it has no known agenda against India, the evolving geopolitical alignment and present dynamics within Bangladesh have a significant consequence to security in the Siliguri Corridor. Delhi is understandably concerned with a scenario involving stronger ties between Bangladesh and China, notably in the areas of infrastructure and defense. If Bangladesh became hostile, or even neutral, the security calculations for India shall be revisited.
