India-Vietnam Partnership rooted in Historical Linkages and Strategic Convergence

On 25 June 2025, India and Vietnam conducted the 13th Political Consultation and the 10th Strategic Dialogue in New Delhi, to reaffirm their deepening engagements. The consultation reviewed progress across various sectors including defense, maritime, trade, culture, and multilateral coordination. They also agreed to ramp up high level exchanges, including focusing on party-to-party mechanisms and planning a significant visit in 2025 to mark the 10th anniversary of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in 2016.
