Brochure: Cross-Asian Dialogue on Rural Development: Asia’s Shared Challenges and Opportunities


Asian Confluence, in collaboration with the Sasakawa Peace Foundation (SPF), Nalanda University, and the Musubi-Te Foundation, is hosting a regional workshop entitled ‘Cross Asian Dialogue on Rural Development – Challenges and Opportunities’, is being held at Nalanda University, Bihar, India, from 7–11 December 2025. The workshop aims to create a regional platform for dialogue and collaborative learning, where countries such as India, Indonesia, Iraq, Japan, the Philippines, and Thailand can share experiences, identify adaptable policy models, and promote leadership for sustainable rural transformation. The platform brings together researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and community leaders to reflect on how inclusive and innovative approaches can strengthen the resilience of rural societies.
