Hydropower is viewed as one of the most promising resources that can change the future of Arunachal Pradesh. Pema Khandu, the chief minister of the state, has noted that the states hydropower potential, if used wisely and scientifically, could be a game changer for a revenue-starved state and turn it into a self-sufficient state.
