Diptangshu Chanda

I am currently pursuing MSc Economics (Geopolitics and Geoeconomics) from Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, Pune, after completing my BA (Honours) in Economics from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. Through my academic journey I have developed a strong interest in macroeconomics, geopolitics, global political economy, and India’s foreign policy. I have worked on diverse research assignments and projects ranging from inflation dynamics to machine learning applications in data analysis. I have also held key leadership roles, notably serving as the Sponsorship Head for the annual fest of the Economics Department at Jadavpur University – Young Economist Student’s Meet (YESM), and have been actively involved in debating societies and Model United Nations (MUN) conferences. I play the guitar and enjoy exploring a wide range of music. I also have a deep passion for theatre, cinema, and photography, and love watching films across diverse genres.
