Speaker Profile: Shri. Madan P Bezbaruah, IAS Retd. is Honorary  Permanent Representative  of United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and a former member of the North Eastern Council. He served as the Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India from 1997 to 2001. Apart from working in senior positions in many departments both in Government of Assam and Meghalaya, he was Minister (Economic) in the High Commission of India, London. He was also Chairman, Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA). He is a member of  the Governing Council of Asian Confluence.
