Asian Confluence in association with the Photographic Society, Bangladesh organised a ‘River Photography Camp’ at Jaflong – a popular hill station in Sylhet, Bangladesh. Jaflong is situated in the border between Bangladesh and the Indian state of Meghalaya. To build on the common bond of friendship and history, the camp was organised as a step to foster cross border interactions and look for synergies to take the relationship forward. A ‘Photographers Meet’ was later organised at the Metropolitan University, Sylhet, Bangladesh where a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Asian Confluence and the University. The MoU was celebrated with a panel discussion which was followed by an interactive session between the panellists and the young budding photographers.
