An interactive session was organised by Asian Confluence in collaboration with The Meghalaya Institute of Governance, where Dr. Stephen Fabes was invited to deliver a talk as part of the Seventh Asian Confluence innovative talk series. Dr. Fabes is a British national who gave up his medical practice in London to begin a cycling journey around the world almost five years ago.
The interactive session was an enthralling experience for the audience who had the opportunity to listen to Dr. Fabes as he told his story of adventure, courage, and endurance. He also gave a multimedia presentation on his journey for the audience to witness his scintillating journey. He has cycled through 52 countries and clocked up over 66,000 km - a distance of more than one and a half times around the planet.
The educative and fruitful discussion was quite informative for the audience as they went back thoroughly entertained with an inspiring evening to remember.
