Innovative ways of financing infrastructure, nurturing growth of SMEs with  smart management of big data can be a game changer for regional cooperation amongst the nations in the eastern South-Asia extending to the Indo-Pacific.  The role of international institutions such as the ADB working together with the nations as well as multilateral set-ups such as South Asia Subregional Economic Cooperation (SASEC and BIMSTEC with bottom up cooperation from state governments and the ‘third space’ of academia and civil society could be a way forward.

In this conversation, two  seasoned experts will be in conversation on this topic.
