Asian Confluence along with Land Port Authority of India(LPAI) is conducting a study on the upcoming Integrated Check Post at Sabroom, Tripura. As part of this study a second technical consultation is been organised at Agartala, the first was organsied on 06th January in Sabroom. The consultation will explore opportunities for the landlocked Northeast Indian states in gaining access through the upcoming ICP of Sabroom in Tripura.

Tripura shares border with Bangladesh and the connection from Sabroom with Bangladesh will enhance economic prospects of the North Eastern Region (NER) of India. Another objective is to assess the trade and value chain potentials of the Sabroom ICP.
