Water security is an integral and core component for economic development. In recent times, focus on areas such as agriculture and health, and a call for greater economic activities proposed under ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ has made this even more crucial. This conversation, on the topic of “Balancing Ecology and Economy”, would dwell on the policy space and the way forward for economic development and maintaining ecological integrity with reference to water governance in India.
