Asian Confluence team welcomes delegates from Mandalay, Aung Ban, Ywar Ngang, Yaenanchaung, Taunggyi, Yangon and Nay Pyi Taw; Myanmar for an evening visit. The proceedings started with a brief presentation on Asian Confluence by Sayandeep Chattopadhay, Senior Research Associate, Asian Confluence. The Myanmar team explored various ideas of  tourism, community-outreach and grassroot development.

The common areas of works and interests shared by the Asian Confluence team on rivers, livelihood and eco-tourism were identified and discussed. The forum also discussed the possibilities of joint collaboration in the near future.
