Asian Confluence organised “A Photowalk” beside the Umiam Lakeunder the guidance of well known photographer Mr. Rohit Suri. The programme was organised as a pre-event to the upcoming Indo-Bangla River Festival titled ‘NADI 2016’. It was an initiative to help the budding photographers of Shillong to capture the scenic beauty of the Umiam Lake, bathed in the golden and mysterious glow of sunlight, which provided the perfect set up for the participants to learn the techniques of ‘capturing’ and ‘making moments’. The reflection of nature’s beauty, meanwhile, was painted on canvas by Jana Bednárová from Slovakia.
