2021 is a significant year for India’s neighbourhood as it marks 50 years of the birth of Bangladesh and half a century of India-Bangladesh relations. On March 26, Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi will visit Bangladesh as part of the celebrations. The first visit abroad of the Prime Minister in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic signals the growing depth and breadth of India-Bangladesh relations.

Asian Confluence works in the “Third Space”. The space connecting inspired ideas, institutions and individuals, working in synergy with the first two spaces: namely government and industry. In celebration of this relationship that is rich, wide in dimension and deep in shared values in the “third space”, this webinar will bring together voices from senior policymakers, academia, media and industry. It will also be an opportunity to release a publication titled: “Bangladesh@50 India-Bangladesh Relations: A Special Journey & the way forward”.
