The Asian Confluence is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Malviya Centre of Peace Research, Banaras Hindu University. The MoU signing ceremony took place on October 13, 2025, at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. The agreement paves the way for joint research ventures, intellectual exchanges, and academic cooperation across disciplines, while fostering dialogue and discourse on issues related to peace and conflict, regional connectivity, and development. The MoU aims to leverage the strengths of both institutions to contribute meaningfully to policy-driven discourse in the coming years. In particular, the collaboration will serve to strengthen people-to-people linkages, enhance understanding of India’s Northeast within broader Asian contexts, and provide a platform for young scholars to engage with pressing geopolitical and socio-economic challenges. It also seeks to encourage sustained engagement between academia and policy institutions, thereby shaping informed perspectives on regional cooperation and peacebuilding. Dr Prithvish Nag, Former Vice Chancellor, Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth, Former Surveyor General of India and Member of High-Level Advisory board, Asian Confluence graced the occasion and shared his valuable insights.
