B.B. DUTTA is one of the most well recognized and respected experts on the unique and strategic issues that confront North East India. He has distinguished himself as an academician, scholar, teacher, politician and a veteran social activist. As the Founder General Secretary of the North East Pradesh Congress Co-ordination Committee, he has left an indelible mark in the political ethos of the North East Region, by strengthening nationalist political forces in the region and being on one the first to propose the opening of the region to India’s South Asian Region

P.P. Shrivastav is the former member of the North Eastern Council which he served for eight years. He was also member of the Task Force on Intelligence mandated to study the deficiencies in the existing system and suggest remedial measures. He served in the Ministry of Home Affairs as Chairman of the Nagaland Cease-Fire Monitoring Group with headquarters at Kohima. P.P. Shrivastav has held many important positions like Dy Commissioner, Municipal Corporation of Delhi and Commissioner (Slums) in Delhi Development Authority from 1974 to 1975 and again from 1981 to 1986.

Gen Vinod K. Saighal retired from the Indian Army in 1995 from the post of Director General Military Training. He has held an assignment with the UN peacekeeping forces as well as a tenure in Iran. He had served as the country’s Military Attaché in France and BENELUX, also overseeing Spain and Portugal. Currently he is the Executive Director of Eco Monitors Society a non-governmental organization concerned with demography and ecology. Vinod Saighal was invited to join the ‘Institutional Advisory Board’ of USFSS (US Federation of Scientists and Scholars) in 2000.

Prof. J.B. Bhattacharya is the former Vice Chancellor of Assam University. A historian of acclaim specializing on the North East, he is the founder of the North East History Association.

Sabyasachi Dutta is the Founder-Director of the ‘Asian Confluence’, India East Asia, Center . Born in Shillong, a social entrepreneur, educationist, artist and a student of Indian history and international relations, Sabyasachi has had a successful career spanning 12 years in the Silicon Valley, California USA in cutting edge technology, innovation and entrepreneurships in large corporations such as SONY Corp as well as several successful startups, and holding several patents. He left that to start several social innovation projects in India.
