Dr. Subhash C. Kashyap is a former Secretary-General of 7th Lok Sabha, 8th Lok Sabha and 9th Lok Sabha and Lok Sabha Secretariat (Lower House of Parliament of India) from 1984 to 1990. He is a renowned Political Scientist and an expert on the Indian Constitution and Parliament. He is the former head of the International Centre for Parliamentary Documentation in Geneva. He has been an Honorary Constitutional Advisor to the Government of India on Panchayati Raj Laws and Institutions. Dr. Kashyap is a recipient of several prestigious awards for his various books on Constitution, Law and Political Science.
Ambassador Rajiv Kumar Bhatia was Director General of the Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA) during 2012-15. As a career diplomat, he served India with distinction for over thirty-seven years. He was India’s Ambassador/High Commissioner in Kenya, Myanmar, Mexico and South Africa. Known for his intellectual inclinations, Ambassador Bhatia enjoys writing and speaking on a wide range of foreign policy-related issues.
P.P. Shrivastav is the former member of the North Eastern Council which he served for eight years. He was also member of the Task Force on Intelligence mandated to study the deficiencies in the existing system and suggest remedial measures. He served in the Ministry of Home Affairs as Chairman of the Nagaland Cease-Fire Monitoring Group with headquarters at Kohima. P.P. Shrivastav has held many important positions like Dy Commissioner, Municipal Corporation of Delhi and Commissioner (Slums) in Delhi Development Authority from 1974 to 1975 and again from 1981 to 1986.
Prof. Ashoke Kumar Dutta is the Founding Director of the Rajiv Gandhi Indian Institute of Management, Shillong. Prof Dutta has worked for over 40 years in Multinational Corporations, Indian Business Houses and Public Section Enterprises. He is one of the few eminent academics in the country to have served the academia and industry with exemplary distinction.
Dr. Suryakathi Tripathi is a former diplomat having served in various capacities with the Indian Foreign Service. She was Ambassador of India to Spain and the Principality of Andorra. In 2002, she launched the India Foundation, a non-political, non-religious trust with a mission to provide free health care to the medically destitute in and around New Delhi.
Sabyasachi Dutta is the Founder Director of the Asian Confluence, headquartered at the India East Asia Centre in Shillong. With a strong interest in Indian Culture, Philosophy and Foreign Policy, Sabyasachi has been involved in various initiatives to grow these interests. He set up a chain of 80 primary school in North East and Eastern India using the model of community participation propelled by youth leadership which won accolades from the Work Bank Institute. He holds a Master’s Degree in Media and Communication from Arizona State University, USA and worked with various technology companies in Silicon Valley, including Sony Corp. He also holds several patents.
